The King's Lifeguard Regiment of Foot
The Ranking system will go:
Command Staff
Colonel- Lord in Command of the Entire Regiment.
Lieutenant Colonel- Second-in-Command.
Major- Responsible for Training and Third-in-Command.
Regimental Serjeant Major- Head of Discipline and a Shining example of a Soldier.
The Command Staff Company will be a Troop of Cavalry of Harquebusier like nature.
It will comprise of the ranks:
Captain- In command of the Cavalry.
Lieutenant- Second-in-Command of the Cavalry.
Corporal of Horse- Experienced Cavalryman
Trooper- The Brunt of the Troop.
Then there will be 5 Companies of Infantry, 2 Pikemen/Melee Infantry and 3 Musketeer Companies.
The Company system of ranking will go:
Command Staff
Captain- In Command of the Company.
Lieutenant Captain- Trial Rank for Captain.
Lieutenant- Second in Command of the Company.
Flag Ensign- Carrier of the Company Banner.
NCOs
Company Serjeant Major- Head of Company Discipline.
Serjeant- Experienced NCOs that will hold the line. (Max 2 per Company)
Corporal- These show the new guys what to do. (Max 5 per Company)
Lance-Corporal-Provisional Rank until Corporal position is available and candidate is ready
Enlisted
King's-man- Experienced Soldier and a Shining example of the honours of the Regiment. (Max 4 per Company)
Guardsmen- Experienced Enlisted man.
Privates- The New Guys.
The Regiment will also have a Battery of Light and Heavy Cannon.
The Ranks will go:
Battery Commander- Commander of the Guns.
Gunnery Serjeant- In Command of a Single Gun.
Bombardier- Loaders and other such tasks.
